UMBC joins BRAIN Center to Advance Innovations in Neuro-Technologies
The BRAIN Center brings together experts from a wide range of topics. The goal is for it to become a neurotechnology hub by creating a pipeline from discoveries to solutions, while helping students, scientists, and engineers solve one of the greatest unmet medical and healthcare needs of our time.
Sandra Barrueco Integrates Training with Research and Community Engagement with Nearly 1M Grant.
Sandra Barrueco, professor of psychology, and colleagues receive a two-year grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration to establish Advance/Avance Maryland and train students in culturally competent behavioral health services for underserved Maryland youth.
