NSF Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Workshop

We will discuss the qualities of a successful NSF MRI proposal and review past proposals from UMBC which have been successful. The most recent successful applicant is Professor Jian Chen from the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. UMBC may only submit three proposals to NSF, so we will also discuss the internal selection process.  Internal proposals (white papers) are due on October 4.
