This summer, UMBC will be hosting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Fellow, Dr. John M. Butler, as a special guest speaker. Butler is one of the leading experts on DNA Typing, and is currently a Special Assistant to the Director for Forensic Science at NIST. He received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
