UMBC joins BRAIN Center to Advance Innovations in Neuro-Technologies
The BRAIN Center brings together experts from a wide range of topics. The goal is for it to become a neurotechnology hub by creating a pipeline from discoveries to solutions, while helping students, scientists, and engineers solve one of the greatest unmet medical and healthcare needs of our time.
UMBC’s Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence shares research on neurodiversity in language learning
Neurodiversity inclusion and representation have been at the forefront of Michael Canale’s 20-year career in the disability services and education field. Canale works with parents of neurodivergent students who worry that their child is incapable of learning another language.
