Research Administrators Training and Education (RATE)
This training is meant to be a comprehensive but succinct and concise training for Research Administrators in both Departmental units and Central Research offices (i.e., OSP, OCGA, ORPC) as well. The courses presented below–“The Core Four”– aim to provide a wealth of general information regarding grants and contracts in general as well as the role of Research Administrators here at UMBC. The course traverses over both pre-award and post-award functionalities and approaches the topics from both a central office and department-level point of view.
