This training is for department administrators who support researchers on how to create a Kuali Proposal Budget. Participants will learn how to create new budgets and maintain existing ones. In addition, exercises will take the participants through personnel and non-personnel line items.
Upon completion of this class, users will be able to
- create and manage personnel and non-personnel items
- change and manage rates
- sync rates to institutional rates
- Attache a final budget for proposal
This is a hands-on class. Laptops will be provided and participants are expected to work through training exercises during the class.
Audience: Departments Administrators who prepare proposals and budgets
Pre-requisite: Please take the Proposal Development Basics Class or be familiar with how to create a Proposal in Kuali before taking this class. Thank you!
