Description

UMBC is pursuing an initiative to highlight and position the research activities on our campus.  We are conducting this initiative along two related but separate focus areas:

  • Our internal focusis to celebrate our rapidly growing portfolio of research achievements and to create continuous awareness of the impact of our research on the community and the nation.
  • Our external focusis to increase national and international visibility and recognition among peers, partners and the public of the research accomplishments at UMBC.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking input from various stakeholder groups within the campus community to shape the message by defining how we want people to think about research at UMBC.

This session will be moderated by Dean of the Graduate School Dr. Janet Rutledge and is intended for UMBC faculty who are primarily located at or near UMBC's main campus in Catonsville. We hope you can join us.
